WHO IS MIDWEST MEG?

My name is Meg, and I’m a 24 year old Wisconsin native who loves to snack and sip. I've worked in liquor marketing for over three years, which has turned me into an amateur mixologist and professional seltzer drinker. Not only do I love funky cocktails (and snacks to go with them), I’ve always been happiest when I have a creative outlet. So, a blog is a great way to document all my shenanigans and projects. Not only will this blog be cocktail and alcohol related, but you can also find mocktails/nonalcoholic beverages, local events, food, Midwest tourism and culture, DIY projects, and much more! There will be something for everybody since I'm a woman of many interests - some calling me a hobby collector.

This journey began in May 2020, when I started posting with more purpose on Instagram. Quickly, my account started to grow and I have been lucky to collaborate with PRESS Seltzer, Panera, and Bakesale Cookie Liqueur, Cocktail Bomb Shop, and Phocus. Then in Summer 2021, I was also given the chance to work with Travel Wisconsin and other local creators to share my love of the state. Since then, I’ve been hungry to do more, and so I’ve expanded to this blog, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Yelp, and Facebook.
